Overview
Access to all Wharton HPC services is now limited to university networks only. For access to any of our HPC services from non-university networks, you will need to install and connect to either the Wharton’s VPN client software (Fortinet’s FortiClient) or the University VPN (Palo Alto’s GlobalProtect), using your Wharton credentials (username & password) for Wharton’s VPN, or your PennKey & password for the University VPN.
Access to VPN
All Wharton faculty, PhD candidates, visiting faculty/scholars, and staff should by default have permission to access both the Wharton and the Penn VPNs. If after installation of either client on your computer you attempt to log in and get an error, please contact your Wharton Academic Distributed Representative for assistance. Include the error details.
